Dr. Karen Ratner has been practicing internal medicine for more than 20 years. She is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and the Colorado State Board of Medical Examiners. She received a medical degree from the University of California, San Francisco in 1973 and completed an internship in internal medicine in 1974 at the University of New Mexico Affiliated Hospitals in Albuquerque. Dr. Ratner completed residencies in internal medicine in 1975 at the University of New Mexico Affiliated Hospitals in Albuquerque and in 1976 at the University of Colorado Medical Center in Denver. She also completed a fellowship at the University of Colorado Medical Center in hematology/oncology.
She is a member of the American College of Physicians, Colorado Medical Society, Arapahoe-Douglas County Medical Society, American Society of Internal Medicine and American Society of Critical Care Medicine.
Dr. Ratner provides primary care for patients ages 16 and up, including management of chronic medical diseases, routine preventive care, women's health and minor office procedures.
